SERVICES
WALK-IN PROGRAM

Our Walk-In Program provides groceries for anyone over 18 and is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-1pm. Customers should bring a photo ID. If a photo ID is not available, customers should bring a utility bill or other official piece of mail with their Seattle address on it. New customers can register quickly at the check-in computer. Since bags are not always available, customers should bring a bag or box to carry groceries. Available groceries vary week to week, but a variety of meat, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, frozen items, canned goods and more are available every week. All customers must stand in line.

HOME DELIVERY PROGRAM

Home Deliveries are made to homebound residents on Thursday. Eligible home delivery recipients are at least 18 years old and live in the community near The Food Bank @ St. Mary’s. This program serves those who are unable to come to our Walk-In Program (or do not have anyone to come to the food bank for them) due to age, illness, injury, or disability. Interested customers must fill out and return an application. Once the application is received, applicants will be visited by a staff member and social worker to determine eligibility. For more information or to receive an application, please call (206) 338-7215 x23 or email volunteer@thefbsm.org.

Application: You can request a Home Delivery Application by contacting the food bank and we will send you the form. Please fill it out, and send it back to us through email, US post office mail, or walk-in.

BABY CORNER PROGRAM

Our Baby Corner Program runs during the first full week of each month (our week begins on Monday) during our Walk-In Program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 - 9:30 AM. Eligible customers must live within Seattle City Limits and should have children under 2 years old. Customers must bring documentation of current Seattle address (photo ID or utility bill), and a birth certificate and/or medical coupon for the child. For children 0-6 months, families will receive a package of diapers, a package of formula, and a package of wipes. For children 6 months-2 years, families will receive a package of diapers and as many jars of baby food as desired, depending upon supply. Customers should stand in line with other customers until a Baby Corner volunteer comes through the line to help them. Due to rising demand and limited supplies, some sizes of diapers may not be in stock.

TODDLER BAG PROGRAM

Toddler Bags are available while supplies last during our Walk-In Program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-1pm. Eligible families live within Seattle City Limits and have a child between the ages of 2-5. Upon first visit, customers must present child’s medical coupon or birth certificate. Interested customers should stand in line and can ask for a Toddler Bag at the check-in window and may get one bag per child each week. Customers who receive bags may also pick up food in the Walk-In Program. Bags may not be available at every visit.

For more information regarding any of our programs, please call us at (206) 338-7215 x23 or email us at volunteer@thefbsm.org.
